John Redwood MP |

John Redwood was one of MessageSpace Creative's first customers, all the way back when it was known better as Bluetorch Solutions in 2006. Initially the blog was seperate to his main constituency website, but the two have now since been integrated into one.
The project was a challenging one as we wanted to make sure we got the look and feel right. At first we opted for a very modern, sleek design that used a mixture of blues and greens, but over time as John Redwood found his 'blogging voice' the theme didn't fit.
So, in 2007 we set about updating the blog's design to match the content a lot better. We also wanted to provide space for John Redwood to promote his various books and to run advertising.
As the site is wholly paid for out of John Redwood's own pocket he is free to talk about anything he likes - and often does. It is one of the most interesting blogs by a British MP you can find. It's not full of gossip and tittle-tattle, instead it is genuinely insightful, offers ideas, discursive and certainly worth a read every day. If we had to compare it to a newspaper, John Redwood's blog would be the Financial Times of the blogosphere.
If you are looking at John Redwood's site and quite fancy something like it yourself then you should know that it is not an expensive choice. We carried out all of the redevelopment work as part of the package, which is our Premium package. To build a site similar to this will take us about 1 week providing you can provide us with photographs and initial content.
