We give time and dedication to a number of projects that we hope will enhance the user experience for visitors to sites in our portfolio and provide our customers with added value.
Chris is leading on our pet project to develop a new kind of political portal. WebCommons will start off by offering customised feeds, but as we tinker with the insides of the system it will evolve to bring you RSS-based alerts, member profiles and a range of useful tools around the role of elected members.
WebCommons is different from other aggregators because we plan to work closely with elected members to ensure a quality feed is gathered from the source. Only blog posts that are politically interesting will be harvested by WebCommons.
As time goes on more data about the elected member will be made available through the WebCommons portal. We will provide information beyond a standard static profile with the emphasis being on providing a useful set of tools to the political community, the electorate, and elected members themselves.
WebCommons brings order to chaos.
